# Omen — Sacred Pack Opening · Palette Exploration

Visual-only mockups to help Louis pick a **color direction** for the Omen *Today* page
(premium sacred pack-opening ritual + magical booster-pack energy).

Open **`index.html`** in any browser — it renders all four palettes as mobile phone
frames side by side (they stack responsively on narrow screens). Everything is inline
CSS, no dependencies, no build step. **This is not production code** — just palette
exploration on a shared, validated flow.

## The shared flow (identical in every frame)

Only the *color* changes between options; the UX is intentionally the same so the
comparison is honest:

- Sealed card in the center
- Title **“Today’s sign is sealed.”**
- Subcopy **“A quiet message is waiting for you.”**
- CTA **“Unseal today’s sign”**
- Visual hints of the ritual: **orbiting cards**, **star-particle dissolve**,
a **trace seal / rune sigil**, and a **foil sheen** sweep on the card.

## The four options

### 1 · Sacred Booster Warm — *recommended*
Warm **plum-dark** background (`#07050D` → radial `#1A1026`), **champagne** (`#E9C46A`)
as the value color (seal, card edge, satin CTA), **amethyst** (`#9B6FE8`) for depth and
aura, **dusty rose** (`#D88BA3`) warmth, and **aqua** (`#8FD8D2`) held back to rare
micro-sparks only.

- **Mood:** a precious object opened in the dark — warm, soft, intimate, collectible.
The same “booster pack you open once a day,” but candlelit rather than cold/electric.
- **Why recommended:** this is the warmed-up evolution of the original Sacred Booster.
It keeps the premium gold-as-value cue and the mystical violet depth, but drops the
cyan/electric coldness — aqua now appears only as *rare* micro-sparks, so it reads
precious instead of sci-fi. Best balance of brand, calm ritual, and monetization.
- **Usage ratio:** ~75% dark warm plum · 18% champagne/amethyst · 5% amber/rose · 2% aqua.
- **CTA:** *satin, not flashy* — `linear-gradient(135deg, #FFF2DC 0%, #E9C46A 72%,
#F4A261 100%)` with dark ink (`#100A16`) and a softer glow.
- **Particles:** mostly gold / ivory / violet; aqua only as a rare micro-spark.
- **Trade-off:** the calmest resting state of the four — intentionally quiet, so it’s
not the loudest in a paid-acquisition feed (that’s what Astral Foil is for).

Exact tokens:

| Token | Hex | | Token | Hex |

### 2 · Astral Foil — *vivid / acquisition*
Electric **orchid + purple** with vivid **cyan** and champagne accents; a saturated
orchid→cyan gradient CTA.

- **Mood:** high-energy, foil-holographic, “rare pull” dopamine. Louder and younger.
- **Best for:** acquisition creative, rewarded-video / offer surfaces, first-session wow.
- **Colors in the flow:** orchid→cyan gradient CTA drives taps; champagne keeps a thread
of premium; cyan is used generously (unlike option 1).
- **Trade-off:** the saturation reads a little more “game” and a little less “sacred/quiet.”
Great as a **secondary/marketing skin**, riskier as the everyday resting state.

### 3 · Solar Nocturne — *warm premium*
Black → deep **plum**, **amber/gold** value color, **rose/coral** aura and sparks.
Almost no cyan.

- **Mood:** candlelit, intimate, high-end, a touch feminine-leaning. Warm rather than cold.
- **Best for:** a brand that wants softness and emotional warmth over sci-fi coolness.
- **Colors in the flow:** amber = seal + CTA; rose/coral = aura + sparks (human glow);
  plum = background depth.
- **Trade-off:** warmth is beautiful but less “cosmic night sky”; narrower audience read
  than the cooler options.

### 4 · Cosmic Aurora — *cool mystical*
Deep **navy** with a **teal/cyan aurora**, **violet** mid-tones, and a clean **ivory**
seal.

- **Mood:** modern, fresh, alive — the most literal “living night sky.” Premium-tech.
- **Best for:** a contemporary, clean brand that wants motion and freshness.
- **Colors in the flow:** teal→cyan aurora = background life + CTA; ivory = seal (cool,
crisp sigil); violet = supporting depth.
- **Trade-off:** cooler and less warm/ritualistic than 1 or 3; can drift toward
“weather/meditation app” if the gold-value cue is missing.

## Color-role cheatsheet

| Role | Sacred Booster Warm | Astral Foil | Solar Nocturne | Cosmic Aurora |
|-----------------------|---------------------|--------------|----------------|---------------|
| Background base | Warm plum-dark | Deep purple | Black/plum | Deep navy |
| Aura / glow | Amethyst + gold | Orchid + cyan| Rose/coral | Teal/violet |
| **Value** (seal, CTA) | Champagne (satin) | Orchid→cyan | Amber gold | Teal→cyan |
| Sparks / dissolve | Gold/ivory/violet; aqua rare | Cyan (bold) | Rose/coral | Cyan |
| Text | Warm ivory | Ivory-violet | Cream | Ivory |

**Rule of thumb:** one dark base + one “value” color for seal/CTA + one spark accent.
Keeping the value color (gold/amber) distinct from the spark color (cyan/rose) is what
sells the “open something precious” feeling.

## Recommendation

Ship **Sacred Booster Warm (1)** as the core identity of the Today ritual — it best
balances *sacred + premium + collectible*, keeps monetization legible via champagne gold,
and now reads warm and precious rather than cold/electric. This is the warmed-up
evolution of the original Sacred Booster: same value cues, softer and less aggressive,
with cyan demoted to rare aqua micro-sparks.

Keep **Astral Foil (2)** in your back pocket as a **marketing / acquisition skin** and
for high-energy moments (rewarded video, offers) where you want more dopamine.

Use **Solar Nocturne (3)** or **Cosmic Aurora (4)** only if brand testing says the
audience wants a distinctly *hotter/candlelit* or *cooler/tech* personality than the
warm default.

> Fast path: look at frames 1 and 2 first. If 1 feels too calm for the store, lean 2;
> if 2 feels too loud for daily use, lean 1. 3 and 4 are the warmer/cooler alternates.
